![]() The problem I have is that I’m neither too soft nor too bright, neither too cool nor too warm and neither too light nor too dark. From my experience brown can be just as good or bad as grey – it depends which one it is because of the variety. What confuses me is that you don’t recommend ANY brown tones. My skin is neutral possibly pale olive or yellow overtone. My hair is a soft brown, very neutral, not ashy. My eyes are blue – grey but bright with a dark navy ring. The look of some of these celebrities resembles my colouring. Many colours are too muted for me especially lipsticks SS look very dull. I have been really struggling to find my season but I begin to think I might be soft summer although I am a tad brighter than SS. Thank you for a very informative article. ![]() I’m stuck between soft summer and soft autumn.īut my eye color seems to fit only bright spring. I only wear gold jewelry and am generally more attracted to warm colors.īut I’m don’t know if they actually look better on me. I hate wearing pink or peach clothing, it makes me look like uncooked chicken and brings out the pink in my skin. My lips are naturally a dusty rose color so I stick with mauve and rose tones for blush and lipstick. The colors seem very clear and not muted at all to me. My eyes have a clear dark blue ring on the outside, then an light blue ring and then a yellow to green ring in the center. but I also have natural slight gold highlights. My hair looks like a dark ash blonde maybe light ash brown. But since I’m so pale usually, I naturally look more pink at times. I rarely get sun but when I do, I turn a more golden tone. Highlighters have the potential to dull your eyes and make you look sweaty or oily.I am very pale, I don’t tan or burn easily. ![]() ![]() At your draping, in your own colours, you would have seen your skin looking young and smooth and perfect, and not shiny or dewy. While a metallic blush can work, skin highlighters are not ideal. Matte finishes work beautifully with this muted palette, but metallic golds and bronzes are also lovely, in liners, shadows, even lipsticks or blushes (though not necessarily all together). There’s plenty of depth in the palette to create warm smoky eyes, and deep russet or berries for a dramatic lip. Natural looks are easy with all your beiges, peaches and browns, but drama is definitely possible too. True Autumn is, in fact, the tone that wears bronzer the most comfortably and most beautifully. Orange and red blushes can be intimidating, but I’ve never seen them look less that stunning on your tone.īronzer, too, is a fabulous way to enhance the warmth of your colouring. True Autumns look amazing in makeup so warm that it would look like a sunburn on most people. There are some colour combination suggestions on the last arm of the TCI True Autumn corporate fan, and here are some more: You also have many neutrals besides grey, like beiges, browns, khakis and olives. Nonetheless, you have plenty of options here.Īs a medium-dark tone, you have plenty of darker colours to choose from. They have gold or green undertones, and if you can find them, great! However most greys I see tend to be cooler, better for Summers or Winters. True Autumn doesn’t have those traditional colours, though there are greys, and your version of black on the cover of your TCI True Autumn fan. The classic example is a grey or black suit with a white or light-coloured shirt or blouse, and possibly an accent colour in a tie or jewellery. That said, corporate clothing, in terms of colours, usually consists of some or all of these: When I’m discussing corporate clothing here, I’m talking about more conservative workplaces - if yours is more casual, this may not be relevant for you.
